The mission of MountainFit is to maximize time on the mountain for visitors and locals of the Vail Valley by providing first-class, in-home care to prevent and treat athletic injuries and to enhance the physical capabilities of the active, mountain population.


Lexi Mossman LAT, ATC, CKTP

Lexi Mossman, a licensed and Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) founded MountainFit in 2015 with the goal of allowing locals and vacationer in the Vail Valley to maximize their time on the mountain through mobile sports medicine.

MountainFit was a 2017 and 2018 finalist for Small Business of the Year. Lexi earned her BS in Kinesiology from the University of Michigan while working as an assistant athletic trainer for their football and hockey teams. Born and raised in Nashville, Ms. Mossman and her family vacationed in Beaver Creek. The active lifestyle drew her back and after several summers of interning as a healthcare provider in the Vail Valley, she saw an opportunity to provide personal, on demand athletic training services to Vail’s active population. Lexi achieved multiple certificates in entrepreneurship, started her own networking group in the valley, and was a 2016 and 2017 finalist for Young Professional of the Year.
